The OakPoint program at Livingston Regional Hospital is an important part of that community support. OakPoint is available 24 hours a day to assist older adults and their families. The process begins by obtaining a referral from a primary care provider.

 
 

The OakPoint Program for Behavioral Services

OakPoint offers a broad spectrum, inpatient program to meet the behavioral healthcare needs of the Upper Cumberland and surrounding areas.

OakPoint is a mental health treatment program providing inpatient diagnostic and treatment services for persons 55 years of age and older. Program components include individualized assessments and treatment planning, therapeutic daily activities, and comprehensive discharge planning.

  • Depression
  • Disorientation
  • Extreme fluctuations in weight
  • Hallucinations
  • Increased social withdrawal
  • Loss of interest in appearance
  • Severe memory loss
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Suicidal thoughts

Visitor Guidelines

  • 2 Visitors per patient.
  • Visitors must be 18 years of age or older to be allowed in the unit.
